This beautiful handmade pasta, Lingua Sviolinate is wide, long and twisted and has beautifully colored stripes on one side, and is plain colored on the back side. Al colors come from natural ingredients only, like spinach for green, beets for red etc.
The high quality of durum wheat guarantees a highly reduced amount of gluten which makes Pastificio del Colle's Pasta much easier to digest compared to regular, store bought pasta.
It can be combined with any kind of sauce, from just EVOO and garlic to vegetable, meat and seafood sauces.
The pasta does not need to be broken into pieces to be cooked. Just put it into boiling water and once the ends start to get soft, the pasta sinks down into the pot.
