DESCRIPTION: A delicate, fully-ashed mixed milk cheese. From Caseficio dell'Alta Langa in Piedmont. Creamy, with just a hint of 'goatiness' and a yielding texture.
HOW TO USE: Great with simple crackers and a glass of Soave, you're sure to enjoy the flavour of this stunning cheese. Light pale ales also work well with Carboncino, but nothing too hoppy which might overpower the delicate flavours.
INGREDIENTS: Pasteurized cow MILK, pasteurized goat MILK, pasteurized sheep MILK, pasteurized CREAM, salt, rennet. Colouring agent: Carbo vegetabilis.
