The Black Pig of Calabria is a particular and valuable variety of pig bred in the Calabrian territory from which high quality artisan cured meats are made. This product, created through a harmonious mixture of meat and fat, ground and mixed with Mediterranean spices and aromas, has a strong and decisive taste.
The external aspect is characterized by the typical hand binding and when cut the texture of meat and fat is more consistent and less processed.
