
DESCRIPTION: A specialty of Italy's Puglia region, rich and soft centered, filled with cream and ribbons of mozzarella. Made from pasteurized cow's milk. A Puglian specialty, burrata is usually eaten so fresh that for many years, it was hard to find outside the region. Not using animal rennet for its production, the burrata has been certified as a vegetarian cheese by the Italian Vegetarian Association.
HOW TO USE: Burrata tastes amazing with every kind of summer produce you have lying around. Tear the outside of your burrata into pieces and add it to pastas or salads. Drizzle the creamy inside with olive oil, sprinkle with flakey salt, and serve alongside tomatoes, grilled bread, or roasted vegetables.
INGREDIENTS: Pasteurized cow's MILK, UHT CREAM (35%), natural WHEY starter, salt, microbial rennet.
